Snorkel Body Assembly: (Assemble before installing) |

Remove snorkel body from packaging. |

Position the air intake grill (Item No. 17) over the snorkel body intake opening. |

With the air intake grill correctly positioned, fasten to the snorkel body using self tapping screws (Item No. 19). |

Remove:
- Left hand guard liner.
- Pre-spinner/boom bottle assembly.
Pull the wiring loom boot out from the inner guard and remove the loom from the headlights, indicators, horn, windscreen washers etc. Refit the loom via the smaller hole towards the front of the vehicle.

Tape the template in position on the upper rear corner of the guard. Using a felt pen, mark the hole positions, then remove the template. |

Cut the main hole to 95mm using a holesaw. Drill the mounting holes to 16mm using a step drill. Deburr all holes to leave a smooth edge. |

Screw the stainless steel studs into the back of the snorkel body. Bolt the upper mounting bracket to the snorkel body using 3, 6 x 12mm bolts. Use a light smear of silicone to adhere the bracket gasket to the upper mounting bracket. |

Locate the snorkel on the vehicle and mark the upper mounting hole positions on the roof via the mounting bracket. Remove the snorkel from the vehicle and drill the 3 mounting holes to 9.5mm. |

Paint all holes to prevent rust.
Secure the rivnuts in the upper mounting holes using a rivnut installer. Apply a small bead of superglue around the outer lip of the rivnuts to ensure the nut doesn't spin during installation.

Bolt the snorkel to the vehicle using the appropriate hardware. Position the rubber connecting duct in the vehicle and secure it to the snorkel snout using a 70/90 clamp (It will take some manipulation to push the duct through the inner hole). |

Place the reducer casting in the other end of the hose. Remove the pre-spinner from the boom bottle/duct assembly. Reposition the boom bottle in the vehicle. Join the open end of the duct onto the reducer casting. Secure the reducer in place using clamps. |

The original equipment air ducting joins should be sealed with silicone to ensure a waterproof seal. |

Refit the guard liner to the wheelarch. |
